Global Trade Consulting Company History

Global Trade Consulting Company was founded in 1987 by Kenneth O. Eldib, as an Industrial Market Research company. Prior to founding Global Trade Consulting Company, Kenneth worked for ELDIB ENGINEERING & RESEARCH, INC. (EER) a consultancy started in 1962 by his father Dr. Andrew Eldib, a PhD, Licensed Professional Chemical Engineer and a Fulbright Scholar. Kenneth was trained and mentored by his father who taught him the industrial market research methodologies that he had successfully applied.

Dr. Andrew Eldib was born in Egypt and came to the U.S. in 1950 on a Fulbright Scholarship, after which he worked for ESSO Research & Engineering Co. which later became EXXON Research & Engineering Co. Dr. Eldib traveled to more than 40 countries conducting market research and meeting with clients. His favorite country was Japan, which he visited approximately 50 times during his career. Dr. Eldib operated his company for 54 years, retiring in 2014. When Dr. Andrew Eldib retired, Kenneth’s company Global Trade Consulting Company inherited ELDIB ENGINEERING & RESEARCH, INC’s (EER) intellectual property. This allowed Global Trade Consulting Company to diversify and offer expert market research in new areas such as; chemicals, plastics and advanced fibers, in addition to; automotives, metals and machinery which had been its mainstays since 1987.

Kenneth O. Eldib is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Business Administration. He has written articles for numerous professional journals and spoken publicly as an expert in the field of industrial market research.
