GLOBAL TRADE CONSULTING CO. (GTC) was founded in 1989 by Kenneth O. Eldib, as an Industrial Market Research company. Prior to founding GLOBAL TRADE CONSULTING CO., Kenneth worked for ELDIB ENGINEERING & RESEARCH, INC. (EER) a consultancy started in 1962 by his father Dr. Andrew Eldib, a PhD, Licensed Professional Chemical Engineer and a Fulbright Scholar. Kenneth was trained and mentored by Dr. Eldib who taught him the industrial market research methodologies that he had successfully applied, many of which we practice to this day, especially personal and telephone market research interviews. In 2023 a third generation of the extended ELDIB family was welcomed to GLOBAL TRADE CONSULTING’s circle of expert industrial market research consultants. This younger generation has contributed to GLOBAL TRADE CONSULTING seamlessly incorporating the latest research methodologies, including “Double-Checked AI.”
The founder of the ELDIB group of industrial market research companies was Dr. Andrew Eldib, who was born into a family famous for engineers in Egypt in 1929, and in 1950 Andrew Eldib was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study engineering in the U.S.A. After earning a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma University’s famous petroleum engineering program, he worked for ESSO Research & Engineering Co., the forerunner of EXXON Research & Engineering Co. in Linden, NJ. Dr. Eldib traveled to more than 40 countries conducting market research and meeting with clients. His favorite stop was Japan, which he visited 50 times. Dr. Eldib retired in 2014 and his son Kenneth merged ELDIB ENGINEERING & RESEARCH, INC’s (EER’s) intellectual property with GLOBAL TRADE CONSULTING’s intelligence. This allowed GLOBAL TRADE CONSULTING to diversify and offer expert “Tailor Made” market research reports in the areas of; chemicals, plastics and advanced fibers, in addition to; automotive, metals & machinery which had been its mainstays since 1989.
Kenneth O. Eldib is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Business Administration. He has traveled the world, written articles for numerous professional journals and spoken publicly as an expert in the field of industrial market research. Today Kenneth continues leading the ELDIB family in its tradition of providing; unique knowledge, expertise and professionalism in the field of industrial market research, which is epitomized by the more than 200 prominent companies that have used the ELDIB’s services since 1962.
